[Link] | Im really not interested in the upcoming Batman film. I've never really liked batman, and heath ledger just doesn't look right for the Joker. I grew up with the animated batman, so if the Joker doesn't look have the massive smiley mouth and and the shrill laughing voice, it's just not the Joker.
Jack's portrayal of the Joker looker closer to the Joker i know, but was just too dark and had a deep grufty voice. I think that Heaths version will be much darker and gruffer.

[Link] | Just got back from a Regia event that saw us fighting in Tunbridge Wells and in Staines in Middlesex. Im tired and achey! My athsma was horrendously bad, but it usually is when im away from home. The new guy Sam was great on the field, dispite the fact he hasn't had any training. Today, I only did the battle in the morning, then swapped out of my priest vestments and back into civies and got some great photos of the 17th Century, Nepolionic and slightly fewer of the medieval since they were so shit.
On a different note I love Dr Horrible's Sing along Blog. I loved "Once more with Feeling" but this is Once more with Feeling with superheroes!
However, it now seems as though I caught Dr.horrible before they made it itunes exclusive. See if you can get a hold of it!

The blast was in the past....
I love Steam / industrial punk! Similar to Bioshock, though set a few decades later, the fallout series places our intrepid vault dweller in an alternate universe 1950's america after the cold war turns nasty. America is now a barren wasteland of mutated survivors, the happy yet ignorant vault dwellers (the privalaged few who were rich enough to ensure their survival before the A-bomb), poisonous and feral beasties and the mindless ghouls.
The first two games were turn based role playing games where the hapless vault dwellers, ignorant of the world outside of their protective vault, send you out to get parts to ensure the continued operation of the vault. The world isn't as technologically advanced as it was before the bomb, and getting the parts is a bit more complicated than it first appears.
I hope this game isn't all blood and guns. The first games allowed for diplomacy and logical, round about thinking. I REALLY hope they manage to capture the innocence of the vault dwellers and the overall "industrial punk" feel of the games.

[Link] | With correct stimulation, I have a very vivid imagination. Usually this imagination works its magic on music. My mind makes its own music videos, usually animated.
So when I hear this:
My mind makes a cartoon of everything he says in a rock video kinda way. When it says 'Hey, hey wanna be a rockstar' the video shows images of the downside of rockstardom. Images of a fat Elvis dead on the toilet, a bald Britney crying as some fed takes her kids away and that guy from Nivana crying into the barrell of a gun. Puts the song in a slightly different light when you think of it like that.
(Did the guy from Nivana shoot himself, or was that the Pheonix guy?)

Death and 'undeath'
Sadly our newest bird passed away earlier today. Im sure Sunny will miss him, but were not getting any new birds. The time of budgies is over.
In other news, my nose is bloody and sore. I've had a bad cold over the last few weeks and my exema dedcided to attack my nose. All in all, I look like a zombie with a half bloody, crusty nose!

Cosplay curiosity
If you could cosplay as anything at all, reguardless of cost, crafting skill, storage, obscrurity or logistics what would it be?
Although the reactions of the people in these videos are a little extreame, the costumes themselves are pretty cool (though pyramid head needs to work on his sword). I would love to be able to have the confidence to wear this kinda stuff.
I think i'd be a Licker (Resident Evil), a Mainliner (The suffering), Voldo (Soul Caliber), CD Cenobite (Hellraiser 3) or The Lying Figure from Silent Hill (the on that looks like its wrapped head to waist in a flesh straighjacket).

I bought SPORE: Creature Creator on the way home, since tom and I had so much fun making bizzare creatures at his place. I've already made a muscle bound land shark with it! Yay, home made furry porn!

Seriously, i'd rather watch the Transformers movie, Alien Vs Predator and the new King Kong simultaniously on a 24 loop for a whole week than watch that pile of steaming dalek turd again.
What the hell was Russell T Davis on?! I really hope that dr.who gets cancelled (for a while anyway), RTD gets his OBE revoked and then someone shits on his car!

[Link] | So......i've not updated for a while. Simple reason actually.
My computer died! :(
Seems the constant heat in my bedroom created heat pockets in my pc which caused the PCU to malfunction and not supply the hard drives with enough power which caused them to grind against the disks which messed up the bios which caused it not to boot after getting to Mup.sys, which caused hilary to win the us election which caused aliens to clone Obama and invade poland in order to get their supply of cream cakes......or something.
Anyway, what ever happened, my pc broke. Tombear made an emergency trip for a week to resurect it. After a few days it was back up and running. Luckily I managed to get my most important data from the drive before tom was forced to reformat it.
Phew. Being without a PC is like a driver being without his car.
Now all I have to do is get those few songs I didnt back up and try and remeber which websites I had in my directories.
